Excellent book,. I loved how the documentation from the Quran and the Bible were incorporated into the story. Once I got to the sixth chapter, I couldn't put it down. It is truly fascinating and exhilarating and I highly recommend it to other readers.

As-salamu alaykum. Thank you for your comment! Yes, performing Ruqya is effective against the Jinn. You mention the hammam--my book, The Jinn, has a chapter where two of the characters visit a hammam. Also, other characters must travel through a graveyard in the oasis of Sidi Yahia and they encounter Aicha Qandicha.
Oujda and the east of morocco generally are known of having a lot of Jnoun(plural Jinn)stories.

in 89,as a child in ouarzazat,my mother told me one morning that she stand up night to pray, and found an old jnia(female)on my head, with long black nails, who wanted to pick out my eyes, after reciting some Quran sura´s,she looked angrily at her and disappeared.
I will never forget that.

lot of other stories are told in morocco, like the jinn with goats leg wich some people see in hammam, alone night or early morning...real horror stories

the stories of Aicha Qandicha also are very popular and often in discussion.

Hi Tom,

Thx for your comment! Like humans (and unlike angels), Jinn have free will--meaning that they can be both good and evil. Unfortunately, there seems to be more evil Jinn than there are "good" Jinn. Whether you agree or not, the Jinn have been and will continue to be depicted in the horror genre. But, don't let that stop you from fighting the good fight for the Jinn!
I have been writing novels with Jinn involved for the last 4 years. I don't agree that the Jinn can be used as Horror creatures because they are not supposed to be viewed that way. Some even believe the Jinn to be a tribe of Angels. Although some texts have said Angels were made from Light it is not stated in any text from God. I have good and bad Jinn in my novels.

Cheers,
Come on with the movie. I been waiting for so long brother, please, I am dying here LOL. May ALLAH protect you every step of the way beloved brothers and sisters while making this film. Although, I should be playing a role since I had encounters with them. If you are a true Muslim or Believer, you are being protected by ALLAH through your Angels. Nothing the Jinn can do to you. Salaam
